Data Deletion
This page explains how to ask Town Hospital to delete the information you shared when contacting us through our Facebook Page, our Instagram account @townhospital, WhatsApp, or our website.
What we may hold from these conversations
- Your name as shown on your account.
- The messages and files you sent us.
- Your phone number, if you shared it.
- Details of appointment requests or enquiries.
How to request deletion
Email info@townhospitaleg.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include the account name or phone number you contacted us from. You can also call 15276.
What happens next
- We verify your identity.
- We delete the conversation data from our systems within 30 days.
- We confirm to you that it has been done.
What we cannot delete
Medical and billing records that the law requires the hospital to keep. These stay protected under Egyptian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
Note: Deleting a conversation in your own Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp app does not delete the copy held by the hospital. To have that removed, use the steps above.
